Courchevel
Mountains, glide and art of living
The Crystal Hôtel is perched in the heart of the Tarentaise valley, in one of the most sought-after Alpine resorts.
The very first French resort to be entirely designed and built as a resort in 1948, the village of 1850 enjoys international renown and rivals the world's most prestigious resorts.
Listed as a historic monument since 1998, Courchevel is today a veritable showcase of luxury, and owes its success to its blend of mountain traditions, winter sports and art de vivre. And to the delight of sports enthusiasts, Courchevel 1850 is part of the Three Valleys ski area, with 102 slopes stretching over 600 kilometers.
The Courchevel altiport was the first international mountain airport ever built, with a short runway of just 525 meters.
